Miao artists grow Cili fruit from their homes in the mountain ranges of Guizhou, Southwest China. They draw inspiration from agrarian lifestyles, celebrating their agricultural processes in their intricate paintings.

Handcrafted in India using traditional Aari craft techniques and appliqué on sustainable sugarcane fabric, this eco-friendly shirt is exceptionally soft with natural moisture-wicking properties.

The artwork on this jacket was created by Gond artists from the Patangarh village in Central India, a region the Gond tribe has inhabited for hundreds of years. Their paintings tell stories about their Indigenous culture, heritage, and a way of life still in harmony with Mother Nature.

This one-of-one product is a collaboration between Rurban and 3.1 Phillip Lim. The overstock garment provided by 3.1 Phillip Lim has been backpacked all the way from New York to the village of Guizhou, Southwest China. Customized creatively by Indigenous artists of the Miao community, it features their unique hand-painting craft.

Miao artists employ an exaggerated style to craft fantastical designs intertwining natural elements with folklore. These intricate multicolored motifs are meticulously hand-drawn by the Miao women.

Miao motifs are hand-drawn in beeswax, dyed in locally grown indigo, and washed in mountain water. This product’s sleeve edges are embellished with woven patches handsewn by the Miao women.
