Rooted in the wisdom of the Thousand Character Classic, these cups transform calligraphy into form — a blessing you can hold.

Crafted through a hybrid process, each cup begins with 3D-printed precision then moves into the hands of master artisans for refinement. Our bespoke jade-porcelain clay is blended with natural pigment and fired at 1,320 °C for a touch of translucence, like jade warmed by sunlight.

Perfect for tea or coffee — elegant enough for display, intimate enough for daily ritual.

Dimensions

Teacups measure approximately 65 mm (2.56 in) in diameter by 50 mm (1.96 in) high with a capacity of around 65 mL (2.2 fl oz).

Care

To preserve the integrity of the porcelain, hand washing is recommended; avoid abrupt temperature changes, and use gentle cleansers instead of abrasive pads. 

Order & Delivery (IMPORTANT!)

All character cups are custom made by specialized craftsmen in China, typically taking 5–7 days to produce. Delivery may take an additional 9 to 14 days depending on your exact location. For time‑sensitive gifting, we recommend leaving 2 to 3‑week lead time.

Return & Refund

Custom orders like this are non‑returnable or refundable. However, if the product arrives damaged, please take pictures and contact us as soon as possible, and we will help you with a replacement or refund.

About the Designer: Li Xu draws inspiration from the famous Dun Huang murals located in the Mogao caves, as well as from the Classics of Mountains and Seas 山海经. Li Xu runs his ceramics studio Kong Liao in Jing De Zhen.
