E-Commerce Manager

Full-Time, Office & Remote

$25 to $30 per hour

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated E-commerce Manager to join us. This is an exciting, multifaceted opportunity to be an integral part of our team. You will be exposed to exciting products, projects and events on a daily basis in a fast-paced environment. 

This position will be responsible for managing all day-to-day aspects of our e-commerce operations, including but not limited to, product listing, pricing, inventory management, order fulfillment, customer service, and marketplace management. You are expected to drive online sales, enhance user experience, and lead our digital initiatives to ensure a seamless shopping journey for our customers.


  • Develop and execute the e-commerce strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Drive website growth by continually optimizing digital funnels to meet key objectives based on analytics and best practices. 
  • Enhance user experience through website improvements and personalization.
  • Create and manage product listings to ensure visual attractiveness and information accuracy
    • Ensure pricing accuracy and competitiveness across all marketplaces
    • Coordinate merchandise shoot with photographer. Ensure images accurately reflect the merchandise
  • Oversee website operations, ensuring functionality, security, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee inventory management and order fulfillment to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers
  • Oversee customer service operations, address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators to inform decision-making and drive business growth
  • Continuously improve and streamline e-commerce processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Stay informed about industry trends and recommend innovative strategies.


  • Legal US working status.
  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce operations or similar sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing teams and photographers.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with SEO, email marketing, and social media advertising.
  • Understanding of UX principles and ability to direct the implementation of website enhancements.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Detail-oriented mindset and dedication to quality.
  • Chinese language skill is a plus.


Store Sales Associate

Employment Type: Part-Time

Compensation: $15 per hour + sales commission

Chop Suey Club is an AAPI-owned boutique retailer in downtown New York. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as sales associates. Our store is known for curated unique goods and friendly staff, creating a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in finding the products they need and provide product information
  • Offer personalized recommendations and suggestions based on customer preferences
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restocking shelves as needed
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and new arrivals to provide accurate information to customers
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Chinese language skill is preferred.
  • Must have legal US working status.
