As a token of appreciation, it is customary for the bride to light a cigarette for each and every man invited. The bride and the groom are then invited to play some cigarette-smoking games of an unprecedented ingenuousness. This publication pays homage to a tradition in which love and death walk hand in hand.

These photos come from Thomas Sauvin's Beijing Silvermine project - an archive of half a million negatives salvaged over the years from a recycling plant on the outskirts of Beijing.

Returns & Exchanges

Items are eligible for return or exchange within 30 days of delivery. Requests made after this window are not eligible.
Lingerie, swimwear, socks, masks, collectibles, art, and books are not eligible for return or refund at any time.

Defective or Incorrect Items

Initiate a replacement or return via your account login within 7 days of delivery. Once approved, we'll waive all shipping fees.

Refund Details

The customer is responsible for return shipping charges unless the item is defective or incorrect. We are not responsible for any damaged, lost, or stolen packages during shipping — please contact the carrier directly if this occurs.
Return packages must include all original tags and accompanying packaging. Returns missing original tags or packaging may incur a fee.
No restocking fees will be charged.
Refunds are issued within 5 days of receiving and verifying the returned package.
