Because of the film 花樣年華 In the Mood for Love, so many people fell deeply in love with the qipao (cheongsam). Beneath the dreamy glow, Maggie Cheung’s gentle poise revealed just how stunning a woman can look in a qipao.
In the 1950s and 60s, the qipao flourished in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong-style qipao was tailored to fit perfectly, combining elements of Western cutting techniques and Eastern elegance. It was more convenient to wear and move around in, making it suitable for both daily life and work. Since the film is set in the 1960s, the qipao designs worn by Maggie Cheung are classic Hong Kong-style qipaos of that era. This particular qipao is inspired by one of those styles, and has been carefully reimagined through multiple revisions. Aside from slightly lowering the collar height by 5.5 cm to better suit daily wear, this Qipao is aimed for a 1:1 reproduction in all other aspects.

Domestic US Shipping:
- Free domestic US shipping for orders over $100 (1-5 business days depending on your location).
- Express Shipping (1-2 business days) available at checkout for an additional cost.
- All orders are processed within 3 business days upon payment confirmation.
International Shipping:
- Available for all destinations via USPS, FedEx, UPS, or DHL. The best carrier option is shown at checkout based on your package weight, dimensions, and item cost.
Returns & Exchanges
- Items are eligible for return or exchange within 30 days of delivery. Requests made after this window are not eligible.
- Lingerie, swimwear, socks, masks, collectibles, art, and books are not eligible for return or refund at any time.

Defective or Incorrect Items
Initiate a replacement or return via your account login within 7 days of delivery. Once approved, we'll waive all shipping fees.
Refund Details
- Submit a refund request, wait for approval, then send the item back. If using a carrier of your choice, send us the tracking number at info@chopsueyclub.com.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping charges unless the item is defective or incorrect. We are not responsible for any damaged, lost, or stolen packages during shipping — please contact the carrier directly if this occurs.
- Return packages must include all original tags and accompanying packaging. Returns missing original tags or packaging may incur a fee.
- No restocking fees will be charged.
- Refunds are issued within 5 days of receiving and verifying the returned package.
- We reserve the right to refuse any returned item that doesn't meet our return policies.
