The Strike Hard Nail Keyclip, designed by artist Charlie Mari, has a rich historical significance. On June 25, 1867, 3000 Chinese workers working on the country’s first transcontinental railroad staged the largest labor stoppage to that date; protesting unfair wages, dangerous working conditions, and long working hours compared to their white counterparts.
“Strike Hard”, made by artist Charlie Mai, commemorates this early Chinese labor history in America and juxtaposes it to the simultaneous import and fascination with Chinese goods. The willow pattern spike will hold the rails, but it has a breaking point.

Rules & Regulations
- Age Restrictions: Must be 18+ to make reservation. Valid photo ID will be required upon check-in. If you are booking for someone else, make sure they are 18+ with an ID. Adult supervision is required for minors under 18 years old.
- Booking and Reservation Policies: Reservation can be made online or in-store. A full payment is required at the time of booking. We suggest guests arrive 10 mins before the scheduled reservation time. Late arrivals or no-shows (10 mins grace period) may result in a shortened game time without reimbursement.
- Cancellation: You can cancel your reservation for free if done 12 hours or more before the scheduled reservation time. Cancellations made within 12 hours of the reservation time will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 30% of the total reservation cost.
- Capacity Limits: Table booking allows 4 players at a time, you may invite up to 8 guests (4 players included) to join at one time. Room booking allows a maximum of 30 people at a time, although for better comfort, we recommend guest number not exceeding 15-20 people.
- Use of Equipment and Facilities: The reservation includes access to the mahjong table(s), chairs, tiles, and any other designated facilities within the game room. Guests are responsible for the proper care and handling of all equipment and facilities provided during their reservation. Any damage caused due to negligence or misuse may result in additional charges.
- Prohibited Activities: Gambling, illegal substance use and smoking (vape included), aggressive behavior, racism, sexism or harassment are strictly prohibited in our facility.
- Code of Conduct: Please be respectful to everyone in the space, and treat our equipment & space with care. Have fun, make noise - just don’t be excessively loud, please be considerate to other guests in the space.Chop Suey Club reserves the full rights to remove or ban any guest from the facility for breaking house rules.
- Time Limits: Guests can use the space for the duration of their reservation. Guests are welcome to stay longer at the space to collect their belongings. But the space must be cleared within 5 minutes after the reservation ends. If other people are waiting for their reservation, the table must be cleared immediately.
- Security Measures: The mahjong room is monitored by a security camera 24/7 and team members during operating hours. Please be respectful and courtesy to our team members managing the space to ensure we all have a good time.
- Emergency Procedures: In the event of an emergency, please follow the instruction of our team member.
- Accessibility: Please reach out to our team members for accessibility assistance.
- Alcohol Policy: Guests aged 21+ are welcome to bring and consume their own alcohol in our facility during reservation time.

This package includes 1 hour manual table with instructor + 1 hour freeplay without instructor. Within this two hour period, you should be able to understand the rules and start playing on your own.
Rules & Regulations
- Age Restrictions: Must be 18+ to make reservation. Valid photo ID will be required upon check-in. If you are booking for someone else, make sure they are 18+ with an ID. Adult supervision is required for minors under 18 years old.
- Booking and Reservation Policies: Reservation can be made online or in-store. A full payment is required at the time of booking. We suggest guests arrive 10 mins before the scheduled reservation time. Late arrivals or no-shows (10 mins grace period) may result in a shortened game time without reimbursement.
- Cancellation: You can cancel your reservation for free if done 12 hours or more before the scheduled reservation time. Cancellations made within 12 hours of the reservation time will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 30% of the total reservation cost.
- Capacity Limits: Table booking allows 4 players at a time, you may invite up to 8 guests (4 players included) to join at one time. Room booking allows a maximum of 30 people at a time, although for better comfort, we recommend guest number not exceeding 15-20 people.
- Use of Equipment and Facilities: The reservation includes access to the mahjong table(s), chairs, tiles, and any other designated facilities within the game room. Guests are responsible for the proper care and handling of all equipment and facilities provided during their reservation. Any damage caused due to negligence or misuse may result in additional charges.
- Prohibited Activities: Gambling, illegal substance use and smoking (vape included), aggressive behavior, racism, sexism or harassment are strictly prohibited in our facility.
- Code of Conduct: Please be respectful to everyone in the space, and treat our equipment & space with care. Have fun, make noise - just don’t be excessively loud, please be considerate to other guests in the space.Chop Suey Club reserves the full rights to remove or ban any guest from the facility for breaking house rules.
- Time Limits: Guests can use the space for the duration of their reservation. Guests are welcome to stay longer at the space to collect their belongings. But the space must be cleared within 5 minutes after the reservation ends. If other people are waiting for their reservation, the table must be cleared immediately.
- Security Measures: The mahjong room is monitored by a security camera 24/7 and team members during operating hours. Please be respectful and courtesy to our team members managing the space to ensure we all have a good time.

Shipping & In-store Pickup
In-store pick up:
- In-store pick-up is available everyday from 12 pm - 6 pm at 41 Orchard Street, New York.
- You can choose this option at the check-out section. After placing the order, you will receive an automated email when your order is ready for pick-up, usually within 24hrs.
Domestic US Shipping:
- We provide free domestic US shipping for orders over $100 (2-10 business days).
- Express Shipping (1-2 business days) is also available at checkout for an additional cost.
- All orders will be processed within (2) business days upon payment approval. Orders placed after 4 pm will be processed the next day.
International Shipping:
- International shipping is available for all destinations via APC, Aramex, Asendia, Flat Export Rate, Global Post, SFExpress, SkyPostal, USPS, FedEx, UPS, or DHL. Best carrier options will be given at check out according to your package weights, dimensions, and typical item cost.
- Due to COVID-19 restrictions in destination countries and with customs clearance, expect delays in customs processing and delivery times. Tracking will be updated with the most current information as it is available.
Replacement & Return
Initiate Replacement or Return via your account login. If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the return process.
Items NOT eligible for return or refund:
- Items received or picked up after 14 days of purchase. Lingerie, socks, masks, art and books
- SALE items, unless you purchase Seel Return Assurance. You can purchase Seel Return Assurance at checkout if you want the option to return and receive a refund. If you choose to not purchase Seel Return Assurance, the sale is final. You can learn more about Seel Return Assurance here.
If you purchase Seel Return Assurance for eligible items in your order, please use the Seel Return Portal to return your eligible items.
For Defective or Incorrect Items
Initiate Replacement or Return via your account login within 3 days upon delivery. Once we approve your request we will waive all shipping fees occur.
To Receive a Refund
- Submit a refund request, wait for approval, send the item back. If you choose to use carriers of your choice, please send us the tracking number at info@chopsueyclub.com
- The customer is responsible for return shipping charges unless the item is defective or incorrect. We are not responsible for any damaged, lost or stolen package during shipping. Please contact the carrier if any of the above situations occurs.
- Return packages must include all original tags and accompanying packaging. Incomplete packaging will result in 5% - 10% fee.
- No restocking fees will be charged.
- We will issue a refund within 5 days of receiving and verifying the package.
- We reserve the right to refuse any returned item that does not meet our return policies.
